How To Make Indo - Chinese Paneer Chilli Dry Recipe At Home

Most of the time when your life partner comes from office work with tension or stress, then food is the only way to overcome their stress. Because if you eat good & tasty food you forget everything that makes you tensioned and you feel energetic. When we feel happy and energetic then we are ready to face any challenges more easily. So that is why I am here to share with you a good food recipe which is very delicious and healthy called “Paneer Chilli Dry”.

Paneer Chilli Dry Recipe is a classic Indo - Chinese dish that is very famous in all over the world. This recipe is made with using Indian ingredients paneer. Paneer is the main ingredient of this recipe. This recipe is used as a great appetizer for lunch, dinner or small parties and etc. It is very easy to make at home and you also add some more ingredients in it to make it more spicy and delicious. The best part of this recipe is, it is budget friendly and need very few ingredients to prepare.

Paneer Chilli Dry Recipe

Servings: 3 - 4

Prep Time: 15 mins

Total Time: 30 mins


• 300 gm Paneer (Cottage cheese), cut it into medium sized cubes
• 2 medium Onion, thickly sliced
• 1 large Green Capsicum, thickly sliced
• 3 tbsp Corn Flour, 3 tsp All Purpose Flour
• 10 Green Chilies, cut it into long slices
• 2 tsp Garlic Paste, 2 tsp Ginger Paste
• 1/2 tsp Ajinomoto, 3 tsp Vinegar
• 1/2 tsp Black Pepper powder
• 4 tbsp Soya Sauce and 5 tbsp Tomato Sauce
• 1-2 tbsp Spring Onion for garnish
• 2 tbsp Chilly Sauce and Oil for deep frying
• Water as required, 2 tbsp Oil, Salt to taste

Instructions:

Step 1: Take a medium size bowl. Add corn flour, all purpose flour, salt, black pepper, 1 tbsp soya sauce, water and make a smooth batter.
 
Step 2: Heat oil in a pan on medium flame. Dip paneer pieces in batter, coat them properly and deep fry paneer cubes in oil until light brown. 
 
Step 3: Heat 2 tbsp oil in a work. Add garlic-ginger paste, green chilies, onion, capsicum and saute for 3-4 mints on medium flame. 
 
Step 4: Add soya sauce, chili sauce, tomato sauce, vinegar, ajinomoto, salt and cook over medium flame for 2 mins.

Step 5: Add fried paneer pieces and stir well, cook for 4-5 mins. Garnish with spring onion. Serve hot.

This is the dry version of paneer chilli, if you want to make it saucy then you can add cup of water at the end of this and cook it until thickness. You can also use cooking soda to the batter if you want to make it more crispy.
