Today’s recipe is one of the world famous recipes, loved
and praised by everyone because of its crispy, spicy and delicious nature, is
Hot Pepper Chicken. As summers are
passing, and winters approaching, days are growing shorter, but with the big
chunks of chicken, you will definitely feel warm and satisfied. As the name suggests, that is Hot Pepper Chicken, most people think that peppers add heat, but in many
cultures, peppers are added to bring sweetness to the dish.
This chicken dish
is basically Chinese dish, originated from the Szechuan province of china and
it is red hot!
Ingredients:
ü Pepper
and dried chilli (1:4)
ü Onions
ü Cooked
sesame seeds
ü Salt,
MSG, sugar, ginger
ü 4 cloves garlic, minced
ü Cooking
wine
ü Cooking
oil
ü 1-4 cups cornstarch as needed
ü 3-4
cups peanut oil for frying
ü 2
long green chilies

Recipe
Procedure:
1. Cut the
chicken into small pieces, and mix salt and cooking wine together.
2. Cut chilli
peppers and green onions into 3 cm slices.
3. Allow it to Marinate for 2-3 minutes
4. Place
the marinated chicken in a large, sealable plastic bag with the cornstarch and
shake to coat.
5. Heat
the peanut oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Then fry the chicken
in the oil until it begins to crisp around the edges, 7-10 min.
6. Remove
the chicken to a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
7. Reserve
2 tablespoons of the oil, discarding the rest.
8. Reheat
the reserved oil in the skillet over medium high heat, then cook and stir the
garlic, onions and ginger for about 1 minute.
9. Add green
chilies, and then continue frying for about 20 seconds more.
10. Return
the chicken to the skillet, stir in the tomato sauce, cooking wine, sugar and
salt until thoroughly combined.
11. Remove from heat and serve immediately.
12. Add some
chilies, monosodium glutamate, sugar, and sesame seeds over it to make it tastier.
You can even use chilli powder instead of chili garlic. And
jalapenos will make the dish more delicious. And a little chili sauce and red
pepper flakes along with oregano to more spice it up.
